At Freys Hotels, we want to offer more than just a pleasant hotel stay in Stockholm. It is important to us to also take responsibility for the community we are part of. 

Through our work in corporate social responsibility (CSR), we are committed to initiatives that make a difference, both locally and globally.

Environmental Initiatives and Social Responsibility 

We recognize that, as a company, we have significant opportunities to make a difference and contribute to a better society. 

Our work encompasses both active environmental initiatives and support for organizations dedicated to social sustainability. As a Green Key-certified organization, we are held to high standards—a fact that also influences our choice of suppliers and partners.

Maskrosbarn is a children’s rights organization that has been in existence since 2005. They work to improve the living conditions of children in Sweden who have a parent with a substance abuse problem, a mental illness, or who subjects them to violence.

Since January 2024, Freys Hotels has been supporting their work. Thanks to our support, Maskrosbarn is able to, among other things: 

  • Offer counseling sessions with school counselors, both in person and online 
  • Keep youth centers open in several locations 
  • Organize camps for children from all over Sweden 
  • Work to ensure that laws and government agencies better serve the best interests of children 
  • Share knowledge with adults who work with children 

We contribute by selling teddy bears throughout the year and by providing support for special activities and events. 

Together, we can make a difference for children living in difficult home situations—right here, right now.

realstars – Hotels Against Trafficking

RealStarsis an independent nonprofit organization that works to combat human trafficking and sexual exploitation, both in Sweden and internationally. 

As a player in the tourism industry, we feel a responsibility to help raise awareness of these issues. That is why we are actively collaborating with RealStars by: 

  • Train staff to identify suspected prostitution 
  • Develop procedures for how we should respond and when we should contact the police 
  • Clearly communicate our position at the hotel 

We support the Fair Sex initiative and are actively working to create a safe and responsible hotel environment. 

Stockholm All Stripes 

Freys Hotels is a proud sponsor of Stockholm All Stripes—one of Sweden’s largest LGBTQ+ organizations. 

The club is open to everyone and promotes inclusion in sports, with teams in soccer, floorball, track and field, and volleyball, among other sports. 

We have supported the association since 2012, and their values are fully aligned with our own.

For us, it’s all about: 

  • Respect people's differences 
  • Create space for everyone to be themselves 
  • Promote inclusion regardless of gender, background, or identity

Our hotels in Stockholm

Corner Hotel (formerly Hotel Lilla Rådmannen) is located in Vasastan, in a quieter neighborhood near Odenplan. It features 74 guest rooms, 13 conference rooms (currently under construction, expected to be completed in August 2026), and a state-of-the-art Belgian restaurant— Hörnans Belgobar.

Freys Hotel on Bryggargatan is a cosy city hotel near the Central Station, shopping, and restaurants. It features 127 guest rooms, 12 conference rooms, and a popular Belgian restaurant— Belgobaren .
